O-Seal System - Catalog 68
The CPV O-Seal System combines the leakproof dependability of separable, union type connections but unlike ordinary separable connections the CPV Oseal System actually uses line pressre and the higher the pressure, the tighter the seal. Flat-faced, self-sealing O-ring fitted unions are used exclusively.
The result of O-Seal's exceptional break-remake flexibililty is a system that not only meets your current needs exactly, but one that can easily be changed to meet future requirements as well. Leakproof reliability is assured. Connections can be broken and remade at will with full assurance of positive sealing.
The exceptional dependability and inherent flexibility of the O-Seal system is matched only by the complete range of components. For example, fittings may be furnished for socket or butt welding, brazing, standard pipe thread or straight thread connectors and include tees, elbows, crosses and reducers. Valve types include shut-off, needle, check, stop check and relief valves. And just as other O-Seal components can be easily repositioned or replaced without springing the line, valves themselves can be readily changed from one type to another thanks to O-Seal's unique valve-within-a-valve cartridge construction.
Fittings are designed in accordance with ANSI B31.1 as applicable.
The O seal range is designed around norminal bore (NB) pipe size valves and fittings. However it is possible to have instrumentation tube (metric and imperial) fittings as well.

CPV’s O-Seal System of valves. In sizes from 1/8” to 2” NB and pressures up to 6,000PSI. The CPV design globe valve gives a flow area in excess of Schedule 160 pipe when fully opened. Valve body material is High Tensile Alloy Bronze and valves can be supplied for oxygen service. Fittings to accompany valves can be supplied in a variety of materials and configurations including instrumentation tube (metric and imperial) size sockets. All utilises the O seal system so have the leakproof reliability of a heat sealed system and the flexibility of self sealing, separable connections.

CPV’s G series of valves. In sizes from 1/8” to 1.5” and pressures upto 6,000 PSI. Valves are manufactured in Stainless Steel and are available in many configurations. The G series brings together the both the O seal and MKVIII systems and can be offered with either style end connections. Also the valves can be offered with tube or norminal bore pipe size socket weld and butt weld connections.
