CPV Valves

CPV’s valve range consist of 5 different groups. Each group, listed below under their catalog numbers, has a range of application but there is some cross over between them so please contact us if you’re not sure which to specify.

Catalog 68 – shutoff, needle, check and relief valves in high tensile alloy bronze, the O seal system.

CPV’s O-Seal System of valves. In sizes from 1/8” to 2” NB and pressures up to 6,000PSI. The CPV design globe valve gives a flow area in excess of Schedule 160 pipe when fully opened. Valve body material is High Tensile Alloy Bronze and valves can be supplied for oxygen service. Fittings to accompany valves can be supplied in a variety of materials and configurations. Although designed around nominal bore pipe sizes it is also possible to supply fittings to suit instrumentation tube (metric and imperial) sizes. All utilise the O seal system so have the leak proof reliability of a heat sealed system and the flexibility of self sealing, separable connections.

Catalog 98 – shutoff, needle, check and air operated valves in stainless steel.

CPV’s G series of valves. In sizes from 1/8” to 1.5” and pressures up to 6,000 PSI. Valves are manufactured in Stainless Steel and are available in many configurations. The G series brings together the both the O seal and MKVIII systems and can be offered with either style end connections. Also the valves can be offered with tube or nominal bore pipe size socket weld and butt weld connections.

Catalog 82 – shutoff and regulating valves in stainless steel for the MKVIII system

O/D tube size valves in regulating or shut off configurations. Rated 3,000 psi.

Catalog 800 – silent check valves.

For more than 50 years CPV has been supplying check valves that eliminate water hammer and surges caused by reverse flow. Available in sizes up to 8” and supplied in either metal to metal or soft seated designs.

Catalog 96 – O seal system – Catalog 68 valves actuated.

CPV’s Air-Operated Valves (FloMaster™) takes the globe valves from the CPV’s O seal system (catalogue 68) and offers them with bespoke actuators.
